German Shepherd Mayflower Market San Francisco
Patricia and John have told me about a great market in San Francisco. It is called the Mayflower Market. The sandwiches there are quite something. Here is a video I made after talking to John.

Drinking Fountain for a Lucky German Shepherd?
We German Shepherds all know how important it is for us to have access to drinking water. Have a look at this drinking fountain. Looks good. In some homes where we live with our families it might be just right.
If you are lucky enough to get one let us have a comment.

German Shepherd and the Twilight return of the Mother
Forever Faithful
Benjie, my beautiful old labrador friend, is getting on now. He finds going for long walks difficult. So, when Patricia and I went for a walk at Kromme, Benjie did not come. Benjie faithfully waited for us to return. Semper Fidelis!Forever Faithful! The first picture is of Benjie waiting. Looking expectantly. The second picture is of Patricia returning. You can see her siloette. Look carefully. Benjie is still there, rising in the dark to meet her.
Benjie often says:
"In the twilight of my life, you will always be with me, Patricia."
How right he is.
How fortunate.
Waiting faithfully

German Shepherd and Jock of the Bushveld
Read about one of my heroes: Jock of the Bushveld.
Here is the story of Jock, set in the early days of South Africa.
"Bushveld" means the wild untamed wilderness in South Africa.
Read about Jock. You will never forget him.

Kromme River Video
The Kromme is my corner of paradise How I love it there. As you watch the video listen carefully - you can here the birds calling. All is still. All is quiet. The river is like a smooth sheet of glass. I run along the bank and swim here, celebrating my youth and freedom. I can't wait to go again.

The fireplace at Kromme
Here is a video of the fire in the fireplace at Kromme. I love to lie by the fire in winter when the rain is beating on the corrugated tin roof of the old house. John and Pat have told me that this is the the fire where the family toasted march mallows on many a cold winter night.
