Cheetahs Feeding - Table manners

Patricia, John, Rosanne and Anna watched cheetah feeding at the Kragga Kamma Game Park yesterday. Its a great Game Park. But the cheetahs! Such squabbling over the food. They should all get some training at my German Shepherd Club - learn some good table manners. I would soon get them into line. The first thing I would do would be to make them sit with the meat balancing on their noses before eating. Good eating discipline is what those cheetahs need.

Indy - the German Shepherd
(I sit before I eat)

Watch the short fight. Such shocking manners....

Sunlight on the Kromme

Early morning on the Kromme.

John and Mozart

Here is John playing the theme from Mozart's Clarinet Concerto. Playing it John's way! I don't know if Mozart would approve but one thing is for sure - John is a huge, huge fan of Mozart. John says that for him, Mozart opens a window into another world.

Yes - the picture is of the Kromme River in South Africa.

Cheetahs - Port Elizabeth

Hi
I am back.
John and the family went to a game park near Port Elizabeth today.
Here is a video of the cheetahs arriving at the foot of the bridge to the cheetah camp.
John took the video
Impressive animals!
View the video on full screen.

Enjoy!
I case you got a shock - there is a fence between the end of the bridge and the cheetah camp!
Whew!

Guard returning home

On 2 May 2014 John watched the changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Afterwards John happened to be where the Guard marches home. It reminded John very much of the Grey Band street march past in Port Elizabeth. John felt very proud. Here is a video John took as the guard reached home.

And - the March past at the Palace earlier
